In search of a Night Auditor / Front Office associate to join our team that can work morning, evenings and overnights any day of the week and on Holidays. We’re looking for an ambitious, hardworking professional who loves to crunch numbers in between responding to guests’ needs. The Auditor will be responsible for all end of day accounting functions and will need to communicate with the security team to ensure the safety of our guests. The ideal applicant should be capable of working autonomously with no one to assist him or her with basic functions, such as checking guests in and out, reconciling accounts, communicating with housekeeping and taking initiative for necessary tasks. A flexible schedule and a willingness to work when necessary are essential.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests upon arrival, check them in and provide them with any information they need to enjoy their stay
- Audit and balance reports from the day shifts
- Schedule guest wake-up calls and reservations for the following day




- Verify that all end of day work has been performed by other departments
- Respond to guest inquiries, concerns and complaints as needed
- Answer phones and place reservations
- Run end of day computer functions so they are complete by the end of the shift
- Prepare guest pre-arrivals for the next day, communicating special requests to housekeeping
- Balance cash drawers and record receipts
- Facilitate the deposit of guests’ valuables in hotel protected

Skills

- High school diploma/GED required
- 2+ years’ experience in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and math skills
- Ability to learn computer functions and other on-the-job skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Trustworthy
- Punctual

Pay: $17.00-$18.50 per hour

- French and English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 drivers license (preferred)
