Dodier Contracting Inc. is a growing excavation and aggregates company serving Mattawa and the surrounding area. We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team.
The successful candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently while working on a variety of excavation and site development projects.
Responsibilities:
- Excavation and ditching
- Road building and site preparation
- Cut grade and final grading work
- Daily equipment inspections
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving on site
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Maintaining a safe and productive work environment
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of heavy equipment operating experience
- Significant excavator experience required
- Experience with excavating, ditching, road building, cut grade,
and site development
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver's licence
- Reliable transportation to and from our shop
