Position Summary

The Lot Attendant/Automotive Porter plays a key support role in the daily operations of Krown Rust Control. This position is responsible for vehicle movement, shop organization, cleanliness, and assisting the spray technician team to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer experience.

This role is ideal for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Handling & Yard Organization

- Safely move customer vehicles in and out of the spray bay and parking areas.
- Park vehicles in an organized and secure manner.
- Perform detailed vehicle intake and outtake checks (lights, damage notes, cleanliness).
- Ensure keys are properly tagged and stored.

Shop Cleanliness & Maintenance

- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of spray bays, floors, waiting areas, and exterior spaces.
- Assist with daily clean-up of equipment, hoses, and work areas.
- Empty garbage and recycling bins regularly.
- Assist with pressure washing and maintaining tidy bay conditions.

Operational Support

- Support spray technicians with preparation and post-application cleanup.
- Help prepare vehicles for treatment (floor mats, seat covers, masking as directed).
- Restock supplies and monitor inventory of basic shop materials.




- Assist with minor equipment cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Customer Support

- Greet customers courteously when required.
- Direct customers to the office or waiting area.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.

Qualifications

- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Comfortable driving various vehicle types (cars, SUVs, trucks).
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred (Not Required)

- Previous automotive dealership or detailing experience.
- Familiarity with shop equipment and safety practices.

Work Environment

- Fast-paced automotive shop environment.

- Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions.

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
