Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Finance Manager to join their growing organization. This newly created role combines finance, operations, systems, and people leadership. You will oversee high-volume transaction processes, support ERP-related initiatives, drive process improvements, and manage a small team while ensuring strong financial controls and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Finance & Operations
Monitor high-volume transactions including purchases, sales, settlements, and inventory activity.
Manage and reconcile inventory subledger accounts.
Support month-end and year-end close activities.
Assist with audits, reporting, and ad hoc financial analysis.
Ensure accuracy and quality control across automated and recurring processes.
Process & Systems
Act as a key process owner for critical operational workflows.
Support ERP maintenance, enhancements, configuration, and user training.
Coordinate and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Maintain system documentation and process procedures.
Partner with vendors, developers, and internal stakeholders to improve business processes.
Identify root causes of operational issues and implement sustainable solutions.
Leadership
Supervise and mentor a small team.
Lead and participate in cross-functional projects.
Support business growth through scalable process improvements.

Qualifications
CPA designation required.
Degree or diploma in Accounting, Commerce, or Business.
5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.




Strong understanding of financial controls and high-volume transaction environments.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience required.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high growth, fast-paced environment.
Strong relationship-building skills and collaborative approach.
Retail or distribution industry experience.
Nice to Have
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or a similar ERP platform.
Expert Excel and SQL.
Experience with ERP implementations, upgrades, or UAT testing.
