Dm Transport is a busy trucking Company in the Caledon, ON. We are currently hiring an additional Diesel Mechanic for our shop. We work exclusively on our own equipment. Heavy trucks & Trailers repair.

Job Responsibilities include:

- Perform brake, safety, and PM inspections
- Maintain work area appearance and safety
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition.
- Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment.
- Adjust and replace brake, tighten bolts and screws, and reassemble equipment.
- Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test instruments such as handheld computers, motor analyzers,



chassis charts, and pressure gauges.
- Specialize in repairing and troubleshooting of major components such as engine, transmissions and differentials, to include replacing complete assemblies, turbochargers, fuel system components etc.
- Maintain a clean and protected work environment
- Maintain work area appearance and safety

Qualifications

- Valid driver’s license
- Previous diesel vehicle repair experience; heavy trucks & trailers

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
