About the Job

Connexus Industries is a leading provider of chain, manufacturer of lasers and metal detectors with offices in Langley BC, Quebec City and Acworth GA.

We are growing and hiring a Mechanical Designer to work with the production team in Langley to design and develop our products.

Responsibilities include:

Design components, develop new products and systems.

Calculate component suitability and systems power consumption.

Research and develop sprockets, chain, and shaft designs.

Create detailed component drawings, assembly aids, product specifications and component data.

Compile BOMs for estimating department.

Conduct root cause analysis for defects and quality issues.

Skills and Requirements:





2+ years’ experience designing for manufacturing.

Robust proficiency in SolidWorks including modeling, assembly aids, and GD&T;

Strong spatial visualization ability and skill designing equipment for manufacturability

Excellent organization and time management skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
