We are seeking a motivated and dependable G driver to operate a Cube Van, delivering goods efficiently and safely to various locations. Duties
- Safely operate a Cube Van to transport goods between warehouses, clients, and delivery points
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, verifying shipment details with recipients
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to maintain optimal safety standards and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address inquiries
- Assist with warehouse activities including moving inventory, organizing stock, and preparing shipments for dispatch
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during daily operations
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid G license or higher classification
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures, inventory handling, and moving equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred)
- Excellent organizational skills to manage delivery schedules and documentation accurately
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, vehicle operation, and warehouse environments
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude
