Overview
Fil-Trek Corporation is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Analyst to support operational performance within our industrial manufacturing environment.

This role analyzes production, labour, quality, automation, and job-costing data to identify inefficiencies and support measurable improvements. The successful candidate will combine data analysis with regular shop-floor observation to improve production flow, reporting accuracy, cost management, and operational decision-making.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Collect and validate production, labour, quality, and automation data.
- Prepare dashboards, KPI summaries, and operational reports.
- Compare estimated and actual labour hours and investigate variances.
- Analyze downtime, rework, delays, material shortages, and production losses.
- Monitor automation utilization, output, cycle times, and labour savings.
- Prepare ROI analyses for equipment, tooling, software, and process improvements.
- Identify production bottlenecks and workflow inefficiencies.
- Recommend improvements to work cells, layouts, staging, and material flow.
- Measure results before and after operational changes.
- Support Lean, 5S, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Improve production systems, data-entry practices, and reporting methods.
- Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Estimating, and Accounting.
- Present findings and practical recommendations to management.

Qualifications and Experience





- Minimum three years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Experience in welding, metal fabrication, or pressure vessel manufacturing is an asset.
- Diploma or degree in Business, Data Analytics, Cost Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience analyzing production, labour, equipment, quality, or job-costing data.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with Power BI, ERP systems, or manufacturing software is an asset.
- Practical understanding of manufacturing processes and shop-floor workflow.
- Robust analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to communicate findings clearly and work across departments.
- Comfortable working in both office and active manufacturing environments.

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
