L*ocal moving company serving Aylmer, St. Thomas, London, Port Stanley and surrounding areas*. We’re getting busy and looking to add reliable, experienced people to our team.
DRIVER / MOVER — CONTRACT
We are looking for an experienced mover who can also drive our 20-foot moving truck.
This is a hands-on position. You will be involved in the entire move — driving, packing, loading, unloading and working directly with our customers.
Requirements:
- Previous residential moving experience
- Full G driver's licence
- Good driving record
- Previous experience operating a large truck or moving truck
- Must be able to provide proof of previous large-truck driving experience for insurance purposes
- Physically capable of lifting and moving household furniture and boxes
- Reliable and punctual
- Professional, friendly and respectful with customers
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
- Reliable transportation to and from our St. Thomas-area location
Experience driving a 20-foot moving truck or comparable vehicle is strongly preferred.
The Driver/Mover position will begin with a 3-month contract/trial period, with the possibility of ongoing work for the right person.
EXPERIENCED MOVERS ALSO NEEDED
We are also looking for reliable, experienced movers for regular moving work.
For our movers, previous residential moving experience is preferred. A strong work ethic, valuable attitude, reliability and the ability to work well with a team are extremely important.
