Manufacturing Production Assistant – Day Shift

Location: Woodbridge, ON
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00–$23.00 per hour
Shift: Straight Days, Monday–Friday

We are currently hiring a Manufacturing Production Assistant to join a well-established precision manufacturing facility in Woodbridge.

This is a hands-on role supporting multiple areas of the production floor, including deburring, part cleaning, assembly, packaging, shipping and receiving, inventory, and material handling.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse, or machine shop experience who is looking for a stable, long-term position with opportunities to learn and grow within manufacturing.

What You'll Be Doing

Deburr machined components and remove sharp edges or excess material

*
Clean and prepare finished parts

*
Assist with basic mechanical assembly and part marking

*
Pack finished products and prepare items for shipment

*
Assist with shipping and receiving

*
Move materials and components throughout the facility

*
Perform inventory counts and organize production materials

*
Maintain production supplies and organized work areas

*
Use basic hand and power tools as required

*
Support different production departments based on daily requirements

*
Maintain a clean and safe work environment

*
Follow established production, quality, and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

*




Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, machine shop, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or a similar industrial environment

*
Comfortable performing hands-on and physical work throughout the shift

*
Experience using basic hand and power tools

*
Experience with measuring tools is an asset

*
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

*
Comfortable standing for extended periods

*
Strong attention to detail and quality

*
Reliable with a strong work ethic

*
Organized and able to follow instructions

*
Willing to learn and assist in different areas of the facility

*
Able to work independently and as part of a team

*
Forklift certification is an asset

Schedule

Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits
