Mississauga
We flawlessly deliver products and services that enable greater safety, reliability, efficiency, and sustainability to industrial operations worldwide. We care, collectively and individually for each other, our customers, the environment, and our company’s performance.
Why This Role Is Different
At Canadian Bearings, this is not a traditional order-entry or freight-expediting role.
- You Own the Relationship & Strategy: Act as a trusted advisor, uncovering the operational “need behind the need” across purchasing, maintenance, and plant management.
- Operations Handles the Admin: Dedicated Customer Service and Operations teams manage routine order processing, quote entry, and fulfillment, freeing you to focus on consultative engagement, program adoption, and growth.
- Modern AI & Digital Enablement: Use Microsoft Copilot for customer intelligence and conversation capture, HubSpot leads, and NetSuite to reduce busy work and maximize client impact.
What You’ll Do (Your Core Mandate)
- Drive Program-Led Account Growth: Expand existing and dormant accounts through MRO Solutions, Technical and Applications Support, the CB Customer Ordering Portal, and other commercial programs.
- Consultative Needs Discovery: Diagnose downtime drivers with buyers, maintenance managers, and plant leaders, and deliver documented Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) savings.
- Mobilize CB Expertise: Coordinate Supplier Relations, Technical Engineering, Sourcing, and Pricing teams to develop winning proposals.
- Monitor Account Health & Delivery: Track performance against service level agreements (SLAs) and proactively identify contract compliance and expansion opportunities.
- Conduct High-Impact Reviews: Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with core accounts to validate documented savings and identify future opportunities.
Who You Are
- The Consultative Problem-Solver:
You bring 3+ years of successful B2B inside sales or account management experience. Industrial distribution or MRO experience is an asset, but consultative curiosity, business acumen, and learning agility matter more than catalog knowledge.
- Tech-Fluent & Organized: You use CRM systems (HubSpot/NetSuite), sales engagement sequences, and AI tools to maintain a structured, disciplined daily rhythm.
- Value-Oriented Communicator: You communicate comfortably with Purchasing Agents about pricing agreements and Plant Maintenance Managers about equipment reliability.
- Team-oriented Orchestrator: You know when to involve technical specialists and how to hand off won agreements cleanly to Customer Service.
- Education & Language: Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience; bilingual English/French is an asset.
What We Offer
- Attractive Compensation: Competitive base salary plus performance incentives commensurate with experience, education, and skills.
- Comprehensive Benefits: Health, dental, vision, paramedical coverage, and a company-matched pension.
- Culture of Excellence: A workplace grounded in Caring, Daring, Collaborating, and Innovating.
- Real Career Trajectory: Mentorship from progressive commercial leaders and pathways into Senior Account Management, Strategic Category Management, or Commercial Operations.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS The following skills, knowledge, experience, attitudes & attributes are required to perform this role. Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in outbound sales, inside sales, telemarketing, or customer service in a business-to-business environment.

- Demonstrated ability in prospecting, customer re-engagement, cross-selling, and upselling with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong active listening skills, with clear and effective verbal and written communication tailored to customer needs.
- Evidence-based decision-making skills with the ability to interpret customer data, sales trends, and industry information to drive action.
- Comfortable using digital tools including CRM systems and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

- Results-driven, organized, and adaptable, with the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
