Rehab First is one of Ontario’s largest multidisciplinary assessment and treatment organizations, with approximately 120 professional staff supported by our MEDNet® roster and administrative team. We are currently seeking an Account Manager – Health and Rehabilitation Services to join our team. This role is focused on developing and strengthening referral relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and connecting clients and referral partners with appropriate assessment and treatment services across Rehab First’s service area.

The successful candidate will build relationships with a diverse professional referral network, including personal injury and employment/labour lawyers, law clerks, insurers, employers, unions, physicians, and other regulated health professionals supporting individuals impacted by motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, disability, and other injuries and illnesses.

Key Qualifications

- Undergraduate degree in Healthcare, Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business development, account management, sales, customer relationship management, or a related field
- Healthcare, medical, rehabilitation, insurance, or legal-sector experience is considered a strong asset
- Clinical experience working with clients or patients is an asset
- Proven ability to develop, manage, and strengthen relationships with prospective and existing referral partners




- Experience developing and delivering presentations to individuals and small groups
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and time management skills
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and be accountable for outcomes
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfort using digital communication, social media, and marketing tools
- Valid driver’s licence, access to a reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory

Knowledge of one or more of the following areas would be considered an asset:

- Ontario automobile insurance and accident benefits
- Short- and long-term disability benefits, including insured and self-insured programs
- Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) programs and benefits
- Hospital discharge and community rehabilitation processes
- Human rights and occupational health and safety legislation

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing referral partners across the assigned territory
- Identify and pursue recent referral and business development opportunities through outreach, networking, prospecting, and consistent follow-up
- Maintain regular contact with referral partners to understand their needs and identify opportunities for Rehab First’s services
- Apply knowledge of healthcare, rehabilitation, and relevant funding systems to help identify appropriate assessment and treatment solutions
- Represent Rehab First professionally at meetings, presentations, networking opportunities, and industry events
- Prepare and deliver effective one-on-one and small-group presentations
- Collaborate with clinical, administrative,



and leadership teams to support referral partners and facilitate high-quality service delivery
- Maintain accurate and timely records of business development activities, contacts, opportunities, and follow-up
- Communicate clearly and promptly with referral partners, clients, and internal team members
- Contribute to business development, marketing, and relationship-management initiatives that support organizational growth

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
