Role Description: The Accounting Clerk is a full-time, on-site role based in Montreal, QC, responsible for supporting the hotel’s daily financial operations. This role includes processing invoices, posting transactions, and maintaining accurate records in accounting systems.

The Accounting

Clerk will assist with accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank and credit card statements, and help prepare basic financial reports.



Additional tasks include verifying supporting documentation, responding to internal inquiries, and collaborating with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial information.

Qualifications

- Proficiency with accounting software and related computer applications
- Strong bookkeeping skills, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Knowledge of accounting and finance principles relevant to hospitality operations
- Ability to assist in preparing and reviewing basic financial statements
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and solid organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
- Effective communication skills in English; French proficiency is an asset
- Previous experience in an accounting or clerical role, ideally in hospitality or service industry
- Secondary school diploma required; Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in accounting.
