As a key member of WSP, you will contribute to the design and assessment of mine waste facilities, ensuring compliance with industry and environmental standards. This role requires cutting-edge thinking and effective collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support project execution and sustainability goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and assess tailings storage facilities and dumps
- Perform geotechnical assessments, including seepage analysis
- Develop comprehensive waste management plans
- Monitor performance and implement improvement strategies
- Prepare detailed technical reports for clients and stakeholders Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, geotechnical, or mining engineering
- 5-7 years’ experience in relevant engineering fields
- P.Eng. designation in Ontario or future eligibility
- Familiarity with geotechnical design software
