Relevant de la direction, la personne titulaire du poste est responsable de la gestion financière quotidienne de l’entreprise et agit comme un partenaire d’affaires auprès de la direction. Elle assure la fiabilité des données financières, la qualité des contrôles et fournit les analyses nécessaires pour soutenir les décisions, la croissance et la rentabilité de la PME.
Responsabilités principales
Gestion financière et comptabilité
- Superviser et assurer l’exactitude des opérations comptables : payables, recevables, conciliations et écritures.
- Préparer et participer aux clôtures mensuelles et annuelles.
- Faciliter la production des états financiers, rapports de gestion et suivis financiers requis par la direction.
- Produire des suivis de liquidités (cash flow)
- Assurer l’intégrité et la qualité de l’information financière.
Analyse financière et performance
- Analyser les résultats, coûts, marges et rentabilité de l’entreprise.
- Préparer les budgets, prévisions, projections de trésorerie et principaux KPI.
- Identifier les écarts, risques et occasions d’optimisation.
Partenaire d’affaires de la direction
- Fournir à la direction des analyses financières claires pour soutenir les décisions.
- Évaluer les impacts financiers des décisions opérationnelles et commerciales.
- Formuler des recommandations et agir comme partenaire de la direction dans la croissance de l’entreprise.
Contrôles et amélioration des processus
- Maintenir des contrôles financiers efficaces et assurer la conformité.
- Collaborer aux audits et à la préparation des dossiers financiers.
- Améliorer et structurer les processus, outils et systèmes financiers.
Opérations, coûts et devises
- Gérer les transactions CAD/USD et suivre les impacts des fluctuations de change.
- Travailler avec les devises canadiennes et américaines
- Comprendre les taux de change et leurs impacts financiers
- Effectuer les conciliations et suivis reliés aux transactions en devises étrangères
- Participer au suivi des écarts de change et des paiements internati
- Collaborer avec les opérations pour améliorer la performance et la rentabilité.
Profil recherché
- Formation universitaire ou collégiale en comptabilité, finance, administration ou domaine connexe.
- Expérience pertinente en comptabilité, contrôle ou gestion financière, idéalement dans une PME manufacturière ou industrielle.
- Solide compréhension des états financiers, de la trésorerie,
des marges, des coûts et de la rentabilité.
- Excellente capacité d’analyse et fort esprit critique.
- Réflexe de vérification et souci élevé de l’exactitude.
- Capacité à comprendre rapidement les opérations et leurs impacts financiers.
- Autonomie, débrouillardise et polyvalence.
- Expérience avec les transactions CAD/USD et internationales, un atout.
- CPA, titre professionnel ou expérience équivalente, un atout mais non obligatoire.

Reporting to management, the Financial Analyst is responsible for the company’s day-to-day financial activities and acts as a business partner to management. The role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial information, maintains effective financial controls, and provides the analysis and insights required to support decision-making, growth, and profitability in a small and growing business.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Accounting
- Oversee and ensure the accuracy of accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Prepare and support monthly and year-end financial close activities.
- Facilitate the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and financial analyses required by management.
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity.
- Ensure the integrity and quality of financial information.
Financial Analysis & Performance
- Analyze financial results, costs, margins, and overall company profitability.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections,
and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify variances, financial risks, and opportunities for optimization.
Business Partner to Management
- Provide management with clear and relevant financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Assess the financial impact of operational and commercial decisions.
- Provide recommendations and act as a financial business partner in supporting the company’s growth.
Controls & Process Improvement
- Maintain effective financial controls and support compliance requirements.
- Collaborate on audits and the preparation of financial documentation.
- Improve and structure financial processes, tools, and systems to support the company’s growth.
Operations, Costs & Foreign Currency
- Manage and monitor CAD/USD transactions and assess the financial impact of foreign exchange fluctuations.
- Perform reconciliations and follow-up related to foreign currency transactions.
- Monitor foreign exchange variances and international payments.
- Collaborate with operations to improve financial performance and profitability.
Qualifications & Profile
- College or university degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in accounting, financial analysis, financial control, or finance management, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial SME environment.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow, margins, costs, and profitability.
- Excellent analytical skills and solid critical-thinking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a natural verification mindset.
- Ability to quickly understand business operations and their financial implications.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and versatile, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with CAD/USD transactions and international operations is an asset.
- CPA designation or other professional designation is an asset, but not required.
