MarTerra Electrical is looking for motivated Electrical Apprentices interested in developing experience across multiple areas of the electrical trade.

Unlike a position focused exclusively on construction, apprentices with MarTerra may have opportunities to gain experience in residential, commercial, marine and industrial electrical work.

You May Gain Experience With

- Residential wiring and service work
- Commercial electrical installations
- Service upgrades and renovations
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Motors and motor controls
- 600 V equipment
- Generators
- VFDs and control systems
- Marine AC and DC systems
- Shore power systems
- Vessel lighting and electrical equipment
- Electrical testing and commissioning
- Maintenance and repair work

Who We're Looking For
- Registered electrical apprentice or eligible to register
- Any apprenticeship level considered
- Valid driver’s licence
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Comfortable working with tools and electrical equipment




- Safety-conscious and dependable
- Willingness to work in different environments, including vessels, industrial facilities, commercial buildings and residential properties

Previous marine, industrial, mechanical or construction experience is an asset but is not required. We are particularly interested in apprentices who want to understand how electrical systems work and how to troubleshoot them, rather than only learning installation work.
