Responsibilities
Assist senior mechanics with routine vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and schematics to diagnose issues and perform repairs accurately.
Support the assembly and disassembly of vehicle components during repair processes..
Handle heavy lifting safely when moving parts or equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each vehicle service.
Contribute to general shop maintenance, including cleaning work areas and organizing tools and parts.
Requirements
Previous automotive repair experience is highly preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with a good understanding of vehicle systems and components.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and reading schematics or technical diagrams.
Willingness to learn is essential.
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts.
Basic familiarity with automotive maintenance procedures and mechanical troubleshooting.
