A & J Mechanical Inc. is currently looking for Level 1, 2, and 3 Apprentice Plumbers to join our growing team.

We are looking for dependable, motivated apprentices who take pride in their work and are interested in developing their skills in the plumbing trade. This is a excellent opportunity for apprentices looking for steady work, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to learn alongside experienced journeypersons.

Responsibilities

As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work under the direction of experienced journeypersons and supervisors on a variety of plumbing projects. Duties may include:

- Assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Installing and working with piping, fixtures, equipment, and related components
- Reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and jobsite instructions
- Measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing piping systems
- Using hand and power tools safely and appropriately
- Maintaining an organized and safe work area
- Following company policies, safety procedures, and jobsite requirements
- Working effectively with journeypersons, other trades, supervisors, and project teams
- Completing assigned work efficiently and to company quality standards
- Developing trade knowledge and skills throughout the apprenticeship

Qualifications We are looking for candidates who:

Must have a valid drivers license, transportation and smart phone.

- Are currently registered or eligible to be registered as a Level 1, 2, or 3 Plumbing Apprentice in Manitoba




- Have a robust work ethic and reliable attendance
- Are willing to learn and take direction
- Can work independently when appropriate and as part of a team
- Have good communication and problem-solving skills
- Understand the importance of jobsite safety
- Are physically capable of performing the regular duties of the plumbing trade
- Have their own basic hand tools appropriate to their apprenticeship level

Previous construction or plumbing experience is an asset, particularly for candidates entering Level 1.
