Architectural Designer / BIM & Digital Delivery Coordinator

Toronto, ON | Full-Time

Kolour Design Partners is looking for an Architectural Designer / BIM & Digital Delivery Coordinator to join our growing team.

We’re looking for someone who combines strong architectural and Revit skills with an interest in BIM, construction documentation, specifications, digital delivery, and emerging technology.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys understanding how projects come together — from design and documentation through coordination, tender, and construction.

What You’ll Do

- Prepare architectural drawings and permit/construction documentation in Revit
- Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and drawing packages
- Coordinate architectural work with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other consultants
- Support permit, tender, and construction-phase documentation
- Develop and maintain Revit models
- Assist with multidisciplinary BIM coordination and clash review
- Support Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Digital Delivery workflows
- Assist with BIM Execution Plans, model standards, QA/QC, and digital delivery requirements
- Review drawings and specifications to identify coordination issues, gaps, overlaps, and inconsistencies
- Read and interpret project manuals, construction specifications, and CSI/CSC MasterFormat sections
- Research building products, materials, assemblies, manufacturers, and technical requirements
- Support tender documentation, addenda, RFIs, substitutions, and related construction documentation
- Help improve internal BIM, documentation, and digital workflows

What We’re Looking For

- Degree or diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Building Science, or a related field
- Approximately 2–5 years of relevant architectural or construction experience
- Strong working knowledge of Revit
- Strong understanding of architectural drawings and construction documentation




- Good understanding of construction specifications and MasterFormat organization
- Ability to interpret project manuals and understand how specifications relate to drawings
- Good understanding of building materials, assemblies, and construction methods
- Ability to review multidisciplinary drawings and identify coordination or scope issues
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a small, collaborative, and evolving practice
- Curious about technology and interested in improving traditional design and construction workflows

Nice to Have

- Architectural specifications and specification coordination
- CSI/CSC MasterFormat
- Autodesk Construction Cloud / Forma
- BIM coordination and clash detection
- ISO 19650 workflows
- Construction estimating or pre-construction
- Product and material research
- AI-assisted design, coding, and automation tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and Luma
- Construction technology and digital delivery

You do not need to be an expert in all of these areas. We are looking for someone with strong fundamentals, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
