The Role:

As an Autobody Technician, you'll play a critical role in restoring damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition. You'll use your technical expertise and attention to detail to repair and replace damaged body components, complete structural repairs, and ensure every vehicle is restored safely, accurately, and to manufacturer standards.

What You'll Do:

- Assess vehicle damage and determine the appropriate repair or replacement procedures.
- Complete body repairs, panel replacement, and structural repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Remove, repair, and replace damaged vehicle components, including body panels, trim, lights, and other related parts.
- Perform frame and structural repairs using appropriate equipment and manufacturer repair procedures.
- Measure vehicle structures to identify and correct damage and ensure proper alignment.
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Follow manufacturer repair procedures, dealership policies, and industry best practices.
- Work closely with Estimators, Parts, Service, and other team members to ensure repairs are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Identify additional damage or required repairs and communicate findings to the appropriate team members.
- Maintain accurate repair documentation and record labour operations as required.




- Perform quality checks throughout the repair process to ensure the vehicle is properly restored before completion.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and safety systems.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

- Journeyman Autobody Technician certification is preferred; relevant collision repair experience will also be considered.
- Minimum two years of experience in automotive collision repair; five or more years of experience is preferred.
- Robust knowledge of vehicle body construction, collision repair procedures, and structural components.
- Experience with frame and structural repair equipment is considered an asset.
- Ability to read and follow manufacturer repair procedures and technical information.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and repair quality.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to use dealership software and digital repair systems.
- I-CAR training or certification is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of dealership brand vehicles or local customer preferences is an asset.

Schedule: 8-hour shifts with weekend availability

Compensation: Competitive hourly/flat-rate compensation based on experience, qualifications, and certification. Additional earning opportunities may be available based on productivity.
