Position: Automation Engineer- Python

Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)

Position Overview:

We are looking for an Automation Engineer with strong Python and infrastructure automation skills to build, integrate, and maintain scalable automation solutions across data center environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop automation and tooling using Python, Bash, and Linux.
- Integrate with APIs, NetBox/DCIM/IPAM platforms, and infrastructure systems.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Jenkins.
- Automate infrastructure using Ansible, Terraform, or similar IaC tools.
- Model and manage data center assets, networking, cabling, power, and hardware lifecycle workflows.
- Work closely with remote execution teams across multiple time zones.
- Own automation systems end-to-end, from design and implementation to deployment and support.




- Research new technologies and proactively propose scalable solutions.

Required Skills:

- Solid Python programming and automation experience.
- Hands-on NetBox or equivalent DCIM/IPAM experience, including data modelling and API integration.
- Working knowledge of Linux and Bash.
- Understanding of large-scale software/hardware systems.
- Practical knowledge of data center hardware and networking.
- Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
- Strong problem-solving, ownership, and communication skills.

Nice To Have:

- Experience with latency-sensitive infrastructure.
- Colocation or multi-site data center experience.
- Hardware lifecycle, asset management, or procurement experience.
- Experience in regulated environments, change management, audit, and disaster recovery.
