Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Automotive Apprentice Mechanic in their second year or beyond to join our dynamic service team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your automotive repair skills in a fast-paced environment. As an Apprentice Mechanic 2nd year +, you will work closely with experienced technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles.

Duties

- Assist senior mechanics with vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance tasks using hand tools, power tools, and schematics.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements.
- assembly tasks when necessary.
- Conduct heavy lifting of parts and components safely to support repair procedures.
- Read and interpret technical schematics and repair manuals to ensure accurate repairs.
- Support the team in vehicle assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency during repairs.




- Follow shop safety protocols when handling tools, equipment, and hazardous materials.

Qualifications

- Currently enrolled in or having completed at least two years of an automotive mechanic apprenticeship or technical program.
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with familiarity of automotive systems and components.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of daily tasks.
- Experience with welding techniques is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately.
