Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Painter to join our Team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to vehicles, ensuring a flawless appearance and long-lasting protection. Responsibilities

- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Mix and match paints accurately to achieve the desired color and finish specifications
- Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and other finishes using spray guns, brushes, or rollers with precision and consistency
- Inspect painted surfaces for defects such as runs, drips, or uneven coverage; perform touch-ups as needed
- Use hand tools and power tools to remove old paint, repair surface imperfections, and prepare vehicles for painting
- Follow safety protocols by wearing appropriate protective gear and maintaining a clean work environment




- Assist with heavy lifting of vehicle parts or panels when necessary to facilitate painting processes

Experience

- Proven experience in automotive painting or related roles within a dealership or automotive repair shop
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle surfaces, bodywork, and repair techniques
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, spray guns, and other painting equipment
- Prior experience working with automotive repair or body shop processes is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during preparation or assembly tasks
- Knowledge of dealership standards and automotive industry best practices is a plus
- Mechanic experience or background in automotive repair enhances understanding of vehicle structures and surfaces
