Job Summary

Forman Honda is looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team.

We are looking for someone who is friendly, upbeat, reliable, and comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment. The right person will enjoy working with people, building relationships, and most importantly, will not be afraid to sell.

As a Service Advisor, you will be the main point of contact between our customers and our Service Department. You will listen to customer concerns, recommend the appropriate maintenance and repairs, communicate with our technicians, and make sure our customers feel informed and taken care of throughout their visit.

Previous Service Advisor or automotive experience is an asset, but we are also interested in candidates with strong sales and customer service backgrounds who are eager to learn the automotive industry.

Duties

- Greet customers with a friendly and positive attitude
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and understand their service needs
- Recommend maintenance and repairs based on the customer's vehicle and needs
- Confidently present estimates, recommendations, and additional service opportunities
- Build strong, lasting relationships with customers and earn their trust
- Communicate with technicians and Parts to ensure work is completed properly and efficiently
- Keep customers informed throughout the repair process
- Manage multiple repair orders and priorities in a busy environment
- Ensure customers understand the work being recommended and completed
- Handle invoicing, payments, and cash transactions accurately




- Maintain accurate service records and customer information
- Follow up with customers when required to ensure a positive experience
- Work as part of a team and contribute to the overall success of the Service Department

Requirements

- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Sales experience is an asset
- Previous Service Advisor or dealership experience is an asset, but not required
- Confident, outgoing, and comfortable speaking with customers
- Comfortable recommending and selling products and services
- Hardworking, dependable, and accountable
- Positive attitude and professional appearance
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced workplace
- Willingness to learn automotive products, services, and dealership processes
- Valid driver's license

Monday to Friday

7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
