We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in a previous shop environment being highly desirable. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, mechanical knowledge, and excellent customer service skills to ensure the highest quality of service for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues accurately.
- Assemble components and systems as needed during repairs or upgrades.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair options.
- Assist with heavy lifting during repairs or parts replacement as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician Apprentice or Mechanic with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues using schematics and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of repair tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
