Automotive Service Technician / Apprentice (Level 3/4 or Junior Red Seal)

Compensation: $30.00 CAD per hour (Guaranteed Base Rate) + Performance Incentives

Schedule: Monday – Friday (No Weekends)

We are a modern, high-throughput independent automotive repair facility in Greater Victoria. We pride ourselves on clean work, factory-correct procedures, modern equipment, and a respectful shop environment where safety and craftsmanship come first. We service a diverse range of domestic, Asian, and European vehicles—from daily commuters and light trucks to enthusiast builds.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform routine maintenance, oil services, fluid flushes, and comprehensive Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI).
- Diagnose and repair steering, suspension, brake systems, exhaust assemblies, and drivetrain components.
- Execute engine and mechanical repairs following OEM procedures and strict torque specifications.
- Utilize diagnostic scan tools for code reading, live-data logging, and service resets.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized bay and shop work workplace.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: 3rd or 4th-Year Apprentice, or Junior Red Seal / Journeyperson Automotive Technician.
- Tools: Valid inventory of personal hand tools and air/power tools appropriate for daily service work.
- Driver's License: Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail, pride in clean craftsmanship, reliable attendance, and strong team communication skills.
