About DSS ProtectionDSS Protection is a Canadian safety and protection company specializing in marine and aviation safety equipment and services. We support customers with critical safety solutions, equipment servicing, inspection, and related products.

We are looking for an Aviation Service Coordinator to join our Service team. This is a great chance for someone who enjoys working with customers, coordinating multiple priorities, staying organized, and being part of a fast-paced service environment.

About the RoleThe Aviation Service Coordinator plays a key role in keeping our aviation service operations organized and our customers informed.

A major focus of this position is coordinating service work based on technician availability and customer requirements, providing accurate lead times, and proactively keeping customers updated throughout the service process.

You will work closely with customers, service technicians, the Service Manager, warehouse, sales, accounting, and suppliers.

What You'll Do

- Coordinate aviation equipment service work and schedule technicians based on workload and customer timelines.
- Provide customers with accurate service lead times and proactively communicate updates.
- Respond to customer inquiries and help resolve service-related issues.
- Prepare service estimates, purchase orders, certificates, packing slips, and other service documentation.
- Maintain accurate customer and service information in company systems.
- Support inside sales and identify opportunities to assist customers with products and services.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams regarding incoming and outgoing aviation safety equipment.
- Assist with inventory, shipping, receiving,



and order preparation when required.
- Support documentation and handling requirements related to dangerous goods.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure jobs move efficiently from receipt through service and return to the customer.

What We're Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is organized, customer-focused, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. Strong communication and attention to detail are particularly important in this role.

Preferred qualifications include

- College diploma in Business, Administration, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of customer service and/or inside sales experience.
- Aviation industry experience is an asset.
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and ERP/business systems.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under pressure.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence preferred.
- Knowledge of dangerous goods, shipping/receiving, inventory, or aviation safety is an asset.

The position may occasionally involve warehouse/shipping activities and requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
