Responsibilities

- Safely operate commercial vehicles licensed for AZ (Class A) driving, including tractor-trailers and other heavy equipment
- Transport freight efficiently between distribution centers, warehouses, and customer locations while maintaining schedules
- Load and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic automotive repairs to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Verify freight documentation, complete delivery logs, and maintain accurate records of shipments




- Assist with forklift operation for loading/unloading cargo in warehouse environments when needed
- Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies to ensure a secure working environment

Experience

- Valid AZ (Class A) commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and commercial trucks
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations related to commercial driving
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and conduct vehicle inspections independently
- Prior experience in logistics or transportation roles is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and dispatchers
