Responsibilities
- Safely operate AZ licensed shuttle trucks to move freight between distribution centers and other designated locations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels
- Maintain accurate documentation of shipments, delivery logs, and vehicle maintenance records
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and other team members to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep trucks in optimal condition
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure a safe working setting at all times
Requirements
- Valid AZ commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience operating commercial trucks, preferably in freight or logistics environments
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
- Ability to perform detailed vehicle inspections and adhere to safety standards
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks as required
