Full The Barber Shop by Puedmag is looking for a professional and experienced Barber to join our newly opened Barrie location.

Located alongside Barrie Tattoos & Piercing by Puedmag, our barbershop is designed to provide a professional, modern environment focused on quality work and a strong client experience.

We offer two options: chair rental or commission, allowing barbers to choose the arrangement that best suits their business and current clientele.

Option 1 – Chair Rental

$250 per week

This option is best suited to an established barber with their own existing clientele who wants the independence of managing their own business while working from a professional shop.

Rental barbers are responsible for bringing and maintaining their own clientele, managing their own appointments and client communication, and handling their own payments.

Basic shop supplies are included, such as Barbicide, hot towels, sanitation products/tools and other basic shared shop essentials.

Option 2 – Commission

60% Barber / 40% Shop

Commission barbers receive 60% of their service revenue, with 40% going to the shop.

Appointments booked directly through the shop will be provided to commission barbers based on availability. While the shop will help provide clients and bookings, barbers are strongly encouraged to build and bring their own clientele as well.

Basic shop supplies, including Barbicide, hot towels, sanitation products/tools and other shared essentials, are included.

Responsibilities

- Provide professional haircuts, fades, beard trims and grooming services




- Deliver a high standard of customer service
- Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary workstation
- Follow all required sanitation and hygiene procedures
- Manage appointments professionally and remain punctual
- Build positive, long-term relationships with clients
- Help maintain the professional atmosphere and standards of the shop
- Commission barbers should actively work toward building their own clientele in addition to accepting shop bookings

Qualifications We are looking for someone who has professional barbering experience and a strong portfolio of work. Applicants should be confident performing modern and traditional cuts, fades, beard work and grooming services.

You should be reliable, professional, personable and comfortable working independently while also being part of the overall Puedmag environment.

For chair rental applicants, an established clientele is required.
