Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join Par and pour in edmonton our vibrant team! In this role, you will be the heart of the customer experience, mixing drinks, serving food, and creating a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks with precision and flair
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Ensure all food handling and serving adhere to food safety standards and proper hygiene practices
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities efficiently, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and stocked for smooth operations
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests




- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, promoting protected drinking practices and adhering to alcohol service regulations

Skills

- Proven experience in food industry settings, especially in restaurants or bars, with a strong understanding of food service procedures
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or equivalent for order entry and transactions
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a lively yet professional atmosphere
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and serve guests seamlessly
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations
