Role Description The Bilingual Training & Quality Assurance Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. This role is responsible for designing and delivering bilingual training programs that support customer service excellence and operational efficiency across Staples Canada teams. Day-to-day tasks include developing instructional materials, facilitating training sessions, monitoring performance standards, and conducting quality audits to ensure adherence to policies and service expectations.
The specialist collaborates with leaders and associates to identify training needs, provide coaching and feedback,
and continuously improve learning content and quality assurance processes. This position also involves analyzing training and quality data, preparing reports, and recommending actionable improvements to enhance the overall customer experience.
Qualifications
- Strong bilingual communication skills (verbal and written) in English and French, with the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Experience in Training & Development and Training, including facilitating workshops, coordinating learning initiatives, and measuring training effectiveness.
- Knowledge of Instructional Design principles and methods to create engaging, learner-focused materials and programs.
- Background in Customer Service, with a focus on quality assurance, performance standards, and customer experience improvement.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide recommendations to enhance training content and quality processes.
- Robust organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working on-site with cross-functional teams in the Greater Toronto Area and collaborating with stakeholders at different levels.
- Post-secondary education in education, business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience; prior experience in retail or contact centre environments is an asset.
