Mad Moose is Edmonton made alcohol free whiskey, and we are looking for two people to pour it.

You will run three hour tasting events in liquor stores, restaurants and bars around Edmonton, mostly on Friday and Saturday afternoons. The job is to stop people walking past, get a sample into their hand, explain what alcohol free whiskey actually is, and close the sale before they leave the aisle.

Pay is $20 per hour plus 5% commission on everything sold at your event.

ABOUT US The Wagon & Co. makes premium alcohol free whiskey for people who want the ritual without the alcohol. Our flagship brand, Mad Moose, delivers what spirit lovers expect: layered aroma, texture, and that satisfying finish with none of the proof.

We are small, Edmonton made and moving quickly. Roughly 100 Canadian doors in under a year, and a Commendation at the 2026 World Alcohol Free Awards, the only Canadian medal awarded, blind judged against more than 600 entries from 30 countries. You would be selling a product that has already been validated by people who have never met us.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Run product tastings at liquor stores, restaurants, bars, hotels and specialty retailers across Edmonton
- Start conversations with shoppers who were not planning to stop, and convert them
- Set up and tear down your own sampling station, including product, glassware and display materials
- Walk retail staff and bartenders through the product: how it tastes, how to serve it, who it is for
- Build working relationships with venue managers and floor staff
- Report back on what you heard, including which objections come up, what sells and what competitors are doing
- Log each event, including units sold,

WHAT YOU NEED
- Based in Edmonton, with a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's licence
- Available Friday and Saturday afternoons. Events run three hours between noon and 7pm
- Experience in sales, hospitality, retail or promotions. Anything where you had to open a conversation with a stranger and ask for something
- 18 or older, as some events take place on licensed premises

NICE TO HAVE
- You drink alcohol free beverages yourself, whether that is NA wine, spirits, beer or a well made zero proof cocktail. Our strongest ambassadors already have something in the fridge.
- Working knowledge of spirits, cocktails or beverage service
- Previous sampling, demonstration or event experience
- Existing relationships in Edmonton liquor retail or hospitality

WHO DOES WELL HERE
- Comfortable being ignored, and starting the next conversation anyway
- Presentable and on time. For those three hours, you are the brand.
- Straight with us about what is not working

We would rather hear from someone who can sell and is curious about the category than someone who knows every whiskey but cannot close. If you do not tick every box, apply anyway.

PAY AND TERMS

- $20 per hour, with every confirmed event booked as a minimum three hour engagement




- 5% commission on the wholesale value of all Mad Moose product sold during your event, paid monthly
- All product, glassware, sampling materials and branded merchandise provided
- Product and category training, and ongoing education as the lineup grows
- Events are offered in advance. You take the ones that fit your schedule.
- This is an independent contractor position. You invoice us for events worked and commission earned, and you are responsible for your own taxes and any GST registration. You are free to work with other brands, as long as they are not a competing alcohol free spirit.
- We do not cover mileage, parking or vehicle costs, and the role does not include health perks or paid time off.
