Job Summary

Duties

- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport bread products to various retail locations.
- Load and unload deliveries, utilizing equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring heavy items are handled with care and safety.
- Conduct regular inspections of delivery vehicles to maintain safety standards and proper functioning.
- Set up and merchandise bread displays in-store, ensuring products are well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing to attract customers.
- Communicate effectively with store staff to coordinate deliveries, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, inventory records, and documentation of product movement.
- Assist with warehouse organization,



including moving stock within storage areas using appropriate equipment.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in warehouse operations or commercial driving preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly throughout the day safely; physical strength and stamina are essential.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with store personnel and team members.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is highly desirable.
- Experience in moving or handling large items efficiently; knowledge of warehouse procedures is beneficial.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and routes; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Prior experience with customer service or retail merchandising enhances your ability to excel in this role.
