About the Opportunity

This role involves working closely with business and technical teams to understand performance, uncover opportunities, improve processes, and support better decision-making through data. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with business requirements as well as analytical tools and datasets.

What You’ll Be Working On

- Evaluate business performance using operational, financial, customer, sales, and other relevant datasets.
- Gather requirements from stakeholders and convert business needs into clear analytical objectives.
- Develop reports and dashboards that provide visibility into business performance and key metrics.
- Identify performance trends, unusual patterns, and areas requiring further investigation.
- Conduct root-cause analysis to understand why business targets or KPIs are changing.
- Analyze customer journeys, engagement patterns, and business outcomes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support revenue, sales, marketing, operations, and customer-focused analytics initiatives.
- Develop business cases using data to support new initiatives, process changes, and investment decisions.
- Perform scenario analysis to evaluate potential outcomes of different business strategies.
- Assist with forecasting and planning by analyzing historical performance and current market or operational data.




- Create standardized reporting frameworks to improve consistency across business functions.
- Automate repetitive reporting and data preparation activities wherever possible.
- Work with databases and multiple data sources to combine, validate, and prepare information for analysis.
- Investigate data inconsistencies and collaborate with technical teams to improve data quality.
- Translate analytical findings into practical recommendations that business teams can act upon.
- Prepare presentations and executive-ready summaries highlighting key findings, risks, and opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with product, finance, sales, marketing, operations, and technology teams.
- Track the impact of implemented recommendations and assess whether expected business outcomes are being achieved.
- Maintain documentation for dashboards, reporting processes, KPIs, data sources, and analytical methodologies.

Technical & Analytical Skills

- Strong understanding of business analytics, business intelligence, and performance analysis.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing business data.
- Experience with Excel for data analysis, reporting, and business modeling.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or comparable visualization platforms.
- Understanding of KPIs, business metrics, data interpretation, and reporting.
- Ability to work with multiple datasets and identify relationships between different business variables.




- Robust analytical reasoning and structured problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Additional Skills That Would Be Valuable

- Knowledge of Python or R for advanced data analysis.
- Experience with Power Query, DAX, or data modeling.
- Understanding of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques.
- Exposure to customer analytics, market analysis, pricing analytics, or operational analytics.
- Familiarity with CRM, ERP, financial, or marketing analytics systems.
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms and modern data warehouse concepts.
- Understanding of ETL processes and data integration.
- Experience with dashboard automation and self-service business intelligence.
- Familiarity with Agile environments and cross-functional project delivery.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality practices.
