Help advisors turn insurance opportunities into meaningful client outcomes.

CI Financial is seeking Business Development & Enablement Specialists to strengthen advisor relationships and grow insurance activity across an assigned network of independent advisors and branches.

This role combines proactive business development with practical insurance expertise. You will help advisors identify opportunities within their existing client books, prepare for client conversations and move cases forward. WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Build and maintain relationships with assigned advisors, branches and regional teams through proactive outreach and meaningful engagement.
- Help advisors identify insurance needs within their existing client books and translate those needs into actionable opportunities.
- Conduct case consultations and support straightforward to moderately complex opportunities through product guidance, illustrations and preparation for client discussions.
- Maintain follow-up and pipeline momentum from opportunity identification through application and placement, coordinating with the appropriate support teams.
- Engage the Regional Vice President or Advanced Planning Specialist on complex estate, corporate and high-net-worth cases.
- Develop relationships between advisors and Corporate Insurance Specialists where specialist-led insurance execution would benefit the advisor and client.
- Participate in branch meetings, advisor events, professional development days and regional growth initiatives.
- Use Salesforce to maintain visibility into advisor engagement,

opportunities and business results.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

- Experience in insurance distribution, business development, wholesaling or advisor support, with a proactive, relationship-driven approach.
- Strong knowledge of life insurance, living benefits and insurance planning concepts.
- The ability to engage advisors, recognize opportunities and provide practical guidance that helps move business forward.
- Strong communication, organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple relationships and opportunities.
- Sound judgment in recognizing when advanced planning or specialist support is required.
- Appropriate provincial life insurance licensing, or the ability to obtain it.
- Willingness and ability to travel within your assigned Ontario region.

What the role offers

- An established advisor network and the opportunity to develop insurance business within existing client relationships.
- Collaboration with advanced planning, Corporate Insurance Specialists and operational support teams.
- The opportunity to contribute to the development of a growing insurance-enablement model within CI Financial.

If you enjoy building advisor relationships, uncovering opportunities and helping turn planning conversations into business results, we would welcome your application.
