Permanent, full-time employment; 35 hours per week. Start as soon as possible.

Guaranteed base wage: CAD 33.00-36.00 per hour, based on relevant experience. New-account acquisition incentives and sales performance bonuses are additional to the guaranteed base wage. Mileage/fuel allowance is provided separately.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Bliss Gourmet Baked Goods is a Canadian food manufacturer specializing in cookies, shortbread, fruit cake and other baked goods supplied to grocery stores, independent retailers and specialty food stores.

Duties

Develop wholesale food sales with grocery stores, independent retailers, specialty food stores and gift shops in Calgary and surrounding areas. Identify and contact prospective customers, build buyer relationships, introduce products, and arrange presentations, sampling and demonstrations. Prepare quotations,



negotiate orders and support vendor setup and first orders.

Maintain customer relationships, follow up on reorders and identify opportunities to expand product listings and displays. Coordinate with delivery and operations staff for onboarding and replenishment. Maintain customer records and a sales pipeline; report sales progress, competitor activity, pricing and customer feedback.

Requirements

Two or more years of relevant business development, B2B sales, food sales, CPG or retail sales experience is preferred, rather than mandatory. Food industry knowledge or customer relationships are assets. Solid communication, negotiation, organization, customer relationship and independent working skills. Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation; ability to travel for customer visits within the assigned area.
