Job Summary

Duties

- Clear and reset tables efficiently to prepare for new guests, ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly, supporting smooth service flow
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down tables, and sanitizing surfaces in accordance with food safety standards
- Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed to ensure timely service
- Manage guest requests courteously, providing excellent customer service and upselling menu items when appropriate
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations




- Uphold sanitation and food safety regulations by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining a clean work environment

Skills

- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is valued
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar platforms for cashiering and order processing
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude towards guests
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and billing purposes
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist guests promptly
- Experience in hospitality or the food industry is a plus; willingness to learn about food preparation and serving techniques

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
