Role Description The Business Unit Head – Water Heater is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Delhi, ON, responsible for end-to-end management of the water heater business. This role oversees product strategy, P&L;, pricing, and portfolio planning, while aligning manufacturing, supply chain, and sales teams to achieve growth and profitability targets. Daily responsibilities include reviewing sales performance, forecasting demand, coordinating production schedules, and working with R&D; on new product development and quality improvements.

Head will collaborate with marketing on go-to-market plans, manage key customer and channel relationships, and monitor market trends and competitor activity.



The role also includes leading and mentoring cross-functional team members, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and driving operational efficiency and cost optimization.

Qualifications

- Robust leadership and business management skills, including P&L; ownership, strategic planning, and decision-making.
- Experience in product management or category management, preferably in water heaters or related home appliances.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain operations, and quality assurance in an OEM/ODM environment.
- Proficiency in sales and marketing collaboration, including pricing, channel management, and market positioning.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with comfort using data and metrics for performance tracking.
- Effective communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills for internal and external collaboration.
- Proven experience leading teams, mentoring talent, and driving cross-functional initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in the electrical appliances or consumer durables sector is highly desirable.
- Ability to work on-site in Delhi, ON and travel as needed to plants, vendors, and customer locations.
