Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Carpet Cutter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for precisely cutting and preparing carpets for pick up/ delivery, ensuring each piece is labelled, meets quality standards and specifications. Your expertise will help deliver flawless flooring solutions to our clients while maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team dedicated to craftsmanship and excellence. Hours will vary from week to week ranging from 3-10 hours per week.

Duties

- Measure and mark carpets accurately using calipers, rulers, and other tools to ensure precise cuts.
- Read Bill of Ladings and Work Orders
- Use forklifts and warehouse equipment to transport large rolls of carpet within the facility.




- Perform heavy lifting of carpet rolls and materials, adhering to safety protocols for manual handling.

Experience

- Familiarity with forklift operation and warehouse procedures is highly desirable.
- Solid attention to detail with excellent measurement skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on quality standards.
