Magna Aluminum Extrusion est à la recherche d’un cariste expérimenté, fiable et axé sur la sécurité pour se joindre à notre équipe.

Nous recherchons une personne ayant une solide expérience de conduite de chariot élévateur dans un environnement manufacturier ou industriel, idéalement avec des charges longues, lourdes ou surdimensionnées.

Le candidat sélectionné travaillera directement avec nos équipes de production, d’entrepôt, d’expédition et de réception afin d’assurer le déplacement sécuritaire et efficace des matériaux et produits d’aluminium.

Principales responsabilités

- Conduire un chariot élévateur de façon sécuritaire et efficace.
- Déplacer des paniers, supports, palettes, billettes, profilés d’aluminium et lots finis.
- Manipuler des charges longues et surdimensionnées avec précision.
- Charger et décharger les camions.
- Approvisionner les départements de production en matériaux.
- Déplacer les produits entre la production, la scie finale, l’emballage, l’entrepôt et l’expédition.
- Vérifier les étiquettes, bons de travail et informations de traçabilité avant de déplacer les matériaux.
- S’assurer que les différents lots, commandes ou matériaux ne sont pas mélangés.
- Manipuler les produits finis avec soin afin d’éviter les égratignures, bosses ou autres dommages.
- Respecter les voies de circulation, les passages piétonniers, les limites de vitesse et toutes les règles de sécurité de l’usine.
- Effectuer l’inspection quotidienne du chariot élévateur avant son utilisation.
- Signaler immédiatement tout problème mécanique, dommage ou situation dangereuse.
- Maintenir les zones de travail propres et organisées.

Profil recherché

- Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience récente comme cariste.
- Expérience en milieu manufacturier, industriel ou d’entrepôt.
- Expérience avec des charges longues, lourdes ou de formes irrégulières.




- Expérience en chargement et déchargement de camions.
- Bonne compréhension de la stabilité des charges, du centre de gravité et de la capacité du chariot élévateur.
- Capacité à travailler dans un environnement actif avec machinerie, piétons et autres véhicules industriels.
- Formation ou certification de cariste reconnue.
- Bonne capacité de communication et bon esprit d’équipe.
- Fiable, ponctuel et responsable.

About the Position

Magna Aluminum Extrusion is looking for an experienced, reliable, and safety-focused Forklift Driver to join our team.

We are looking for someone with strong forklift experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, ideally handling long, heavy, or oversized loads.

The successful candidate will work closely with Production, Warehouse, Shipping, and Receiving to ensure the protected and efficient movement of aluminum materials and finished products throughout the facility.

Main Responsibilities

- Safely and efficiently operate an industrial forklift.
- Move production baskets, racks, pallets, billets, aluminum profiles, and finished bundles.




- Handle long and oversized loads safely and accurately.
- Load and unload transport trucks.
- Supply production departments with required materials.
- Move products between Production, Final Saw, Packing, Warehouse, and Shipping.
- Verify labels, work orders, and traceability information before moving material.
- Prevent different lots, jobs, and materials from being mixed.
- Handle finished products carefully to prevent scratches, dents, or damage.
- Follow all plant traffic routes, pedestrian crossings, speed limits, and safety rules.
- Complete daily forklift inspections before operation.
- Immediately report mechanical problems, damage, or unsafe conditions.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.

Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of recent forklift operating experience.
- Previous manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse experience.
- Experience handling long, heavy, or irregular loads.
- Experience loading and unloading trucks.
- Strong understanding of load stability, load centre, and forklift capacity.
- Ability to safely work around machinery, pedestrians, and other industrial vehicles.
- Recognized forklift training or certification.
- Robust communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.

Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is considered an asset:

- Aluminum extrusion
- Aluminum or steel
- Metal manufacturing
- Long-load material handling
- Industrial warehousing
- Shipping and receiving
- Flatbed truck loading
- Production environments requiring material traceability

We are looking for an experienced operator who understands that good forklift operation is not simply about moving material quickly. It is about moving the correct material, to the correct location, safely and without damage.

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
