In this key role, you'll review building permit applications, issue permits, and perform inspections, especially for small-scale multi-unit housing projects. We're seeking someone with extensive knowledge of the BC Building Code and related regulations. Independence in judgment is crucial, while complex issues will involve collaboration with supervisors. Key Responsibilities:

- Review and process building permit applications




- Issue building permits in accordance with regulations
- Conduct site inspections for compliance
- Provide technical advice to stakeholders
- Maintain updated knowledge of building codes and regulations Requirements:
- Certificate in Building Technology or related experience
- Considerable knowledge of BC Building Code
- BOABC Level 1 Qualification preferred
