We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Casual Staff to join our team, providing vital support across various programs and activities. This role offers flexible scheduling and an opportunity to make a positive impact by working directly with children and individuals with diverse needs. As a Casual Staff member, you will contribute to creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that promotes growth and development for all participants.

Days needed: September 21st and 22nd/2026 - 7:45am to 4:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing educational and recreational activities tailored to individual needs
- Support children and individuals with disabilities in daily routines and learning experiences
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation and confidence
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors regarding participant progress and any concerns
- Help prepare materials and set up environments conducive to learning and engagement
- Provide caregiving support, including assisting with personal care tasks when necessary
Skills
- Prior classroom experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to adapt activities for diverse needs
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Compassionate caregiving attitude with patience and understanding
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, colleagues, and families
- Ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining a lively, positive approach
- Experience working in inclusive settings that promote developmental growth
