SCS Refrigeration Inc is currently accepting applications for a full time Chief Refrigeration Class B Operator in the food processing industry. Required Qualifications

- High School Diploma
- Reliable Transportation with a good driving record
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and documentation skills. Must be able to contribute in team environment
- Self-directed, ability to make decisions, results oriented
- Thorough knowledge of HACCP and GMP principals; previous experience working in the food industry is preferable
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Applicant must hold one of the following valid TSSA OE certificates (preference will be given to multiple license holders);
- Refrigeration Operator B or Stationary Engineer 3rd class, Ammonia experience required.

Responsibilities

- Secure operation of centralized ammonia refrigeration plant




- Develop and continuously improve refrigeration plant SOPs
- Coordinate with outside resources as necessary to ensure equipment reliability
- Repair and maintain plant HVAC equipment, including belts and filters
- Complete and maintain all company electronic documentation
- Promotes, builds and maintains effective communication
- Work dayshift
- Must be able to work occasional overtime as required
- Responsible for assuring all tools and equipment used are in good and safe working order
- Work safely and responsibly. Participate in H&S; meetings
- Assist Maintenance staff with other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $42.00-$50.00 per hour

Licence/Certification

- Refrigeration Operator Class B or higher (required)
