Niagara Medical Group Family Health Team is an interdisciplinary primary health care team in Niagara Falls, On. Located on Queen Street, just down from City Hall. We are seeking a permanent full-time dedicated Master of Social Work/Registered Psychotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with diverse populations and providing clinical and therapeutic services.

Position Responsibilities

- Clinical therapy for individuals, groups, marital, adult and children
- Assessing and implementation of appropriate clinical therapy techniques as agreed upon by the client/patient/family
- Support with social and mental health needs through screening and triage to appropriate community partners when appropriate
- Tracking compiling data quarterly to be reported to the Executive Director for funding purposes
- Providing continued and/or follow-up sessions to assess patient needs

Education, Credentials & Experience

- Completion of college/university/CEGEP/vocational or technical training




- Current Registration with OCSWSSW as a Registered Social Service Worker or
- Current Registration with the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario
- One to two years’ clinical experience
- Basic computer knowledge and competence (word processing/clinical applications)
- Electronic Medical Record knowledge is an asset
- CPR/Basic First Aid Certification
- Knowledge of community resources and programs
- Knowledge of and ability to implement clinical therapeutic techniques
- Conflict management and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrate ability to plan and be self-directed

Salary: $75,950 – $77,673 annually
