POSITION TITLE: Clinical Services Manager

PROGRAM: Leadership Team

POSITION STATUS: Full Time

REPORTS TO: Chief Executive Officer

EMPLOYEE GROUP: Non-Union

HOURS OF WORK:35/week

LOCATION: Haldimand and Norfolk

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum of five years of clinical experience in community mental health and addictions
- Minimum of three years of leadership experience, preferably in a mental health and addiction agency
- Member in good standing with a regulated college along with a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Nursing, Psychology or related discipline
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of program management, program evaluations, risk management, budgeting, human resource planning, and processes
- Excellent program development and quality assurance skills and experience
- Commitment to a servant leadership approach with the ability to support and lead staff in excellent client service delivery and in the achievement of organizational goals
- Ability to establish priorities and meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated experience in program evaluations and statistics
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation including Personal Heath Information Privacy Act, Mental Health Act, Child, Youth and Family Services Act, Canadian Human Rights Act, and the Employment Standards Act
- Experience leading in a unionized environment
- Demonstrates a commitment to customers/clients, our staff team, our community, quality service provision and community partnerships
- Competency in Standard corporate software (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook), experience with EMRs and capabilities in data entries and searches
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Professional verbal and written communication skills




- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team and with other agencies in the community

RESPONSIBILITIES: (Duties include, but are not limited to)

- Responsible for clinical programs including System Navigation, Crisis services/CAST, MCRT (Mobile Crisis Response Team)
- Works collaboratively with the Leadership Team
- Supporting and orchestrating the development of evidence-based best practices and clinical service excellence
- Develops a robust and healthy work dynamic with staff
- Conducts and analyses all data and quality assurance practices and outcomes as required
- Acts as the organization’s point of contact for clinical services and interfaces with the required legislative bodies as needed
- Required to adhere to Collective Agreements and promote a strong healthy working environment
- Promotes an environment which supports creativity and innovation in the delivery of client services and community partnerships
- Participates in the preparation and ongoing monitoring of the annual operational budgets of the agency
- Some On Call duties related to our programs that operate outside of standard business hours
