Work Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00am to 5:00pm and Friday 7:00am to 1:00pm
Core Responsibilities
- Set up and operation of Biesse CNC machine
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong computer skills
- Can handle comfortably loading machine and arranging parts
- Setting up tooling and loading programs to achieve quality parts
- Using measuring tools to check quality of parts produced
- Familiar with millwork and wood products
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 2years of experience in a machining environment
- Experience with Woodworking is an asset. Training Provided
- Tooling knowledge and understanding of tooling capabilities is required
- Robust ability in reading shop drawings
- Knowledge of basic math and ability to do calculations using fractions and decimals
- Ability to use measuring tools such as a measuring tape.
- Diploma or Apprenticeship in a similar role would be an asset
- CNC experience is a strong asset
The candidate must have good communication skills. They must also be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Job Type: Full-time
