Duties

- Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on commercial trucks .
- Use schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Conduct welding and fabrication tasks to repair or modify equipment as needed
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely to disassemble, repair, or assemble vehicle components
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and maintenance logs for all performed tasks
- Assist with heavy lifting using appropriate equipment to handle large parts or components




- Support customer service efforts by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of varifiable experience experience as a heavy duty truck mechanic or apprentice or similar role working on heavy-duty vehicles and industrial equipment
- Proficiency with electrical systems diagnostics and schematics interpretation
- Hands-on experience with welding techniques and fabrication processes
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators or industrial machinery safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with automotive repair standards and maintenance procedures for commercial vehicles
- Skilled in using power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment for complex repairs
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and work in various environmental conditions
