About Toronto Tech WeekToronto Tech Week is a community-led, decentralized event series showcasing Toronto as a global hub of technology, creativity, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

Each year, founders, investors, operators, builders, executives, and community leaders gather across the city for hundreds of independently hosted events designed to build meaningful connections, spark new ideas, and amplify Canadian innovation on the world stage.

In 2026, Toronto Tech Week brought together 32,400+ attendees, 603+ events, 732+ event hosts, and 840+ speakers.

As we build toward 2027, we are focused on strengthening the experience for the organizations and community leaders who bring the week to life—and making it easier for more of Toronto’s tech ecosystem to participate.

The RoleWe’re looking for a Community Lead to engage, support, and rally the organizations hosting events during Toronto Tech Week 2027.

You will be a primary point of contact for prospective and confirmed event hosts, helping them understand TTW’s decentralized model, navigate the participation process, and access the resources they need to organize successful events.

You will also lead community communications, facilitate host information sessions, support the TTW Ambassador program, and help ensure that hosts and community members receive explicit, timely, and helpful information throughout the year.

A central measure of success will be helping Toronto Tech Week meet or exceed the 603+ events hosted in 2026, while continuing to expand the diversity, quality, and reach of participating organizations.

- Track host interest, participation, and community engagement to help TTW meet its event goals.
- Support host gatherings, official TTW events, community activations, and other in-person moments as needed.
