Construction Labourer – Residential Renovations

We're looking for a dependable Construction Labourer who wants steady work, a strong team environment and the opportunity to build real construction skills.
This is not just a clean-up position. You'll work alongside experienced carpenters and tradespeople and gain hands-on experience across a wide range of residential renovation projects.
The Role
You'll support our crews with demolition, material handling, site preparation, clean-up and general construction tasks.
Depending on your experience, you'll also assist with framing, drywall, flooring, trim, cabinetry, exterior work and other renovation tasks.
You'll be expected to work safely, take direction well, stay productive and help keep every job site clean, organized and client-ready.
Most of our work takes place in occupied homes, so professionalism, respect and attention to detail matter.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assist with demolition and site preparation
- Load, unload and move construction materials
- Help carpenters and tradespeople with daily construction tasks
- Use hand tools and power tools safely
- Assist with framing, drywall, flooring, trim, cabinetry and general carpentry
- Assist with decks, fences,
siding and exterior renovation work
- Complete caulking, patching, painting and basic finishing work as required
- Keep job sites clean, organized and safe
- Help with material pickups, dump runs and general site support
- Follow instructions, plans and company safety procedures
- Document work and site progress using Jobber and CompanyCam as required
Standards & Expectations Start times mean ready to work, not arriving at the site.
We expect reliable attendance and consistent effort.
We prioritize proper preparation, quality workmanship and clean job sites.
You'll be working in clients' homes, so respectful communication and professionalism are part of the job.

What We're Looking For
Previous construction or renovation experience is preferred, but we will consider someone with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
You are comfortable using basic hand tools and power tools.
You are physically capable of lifting and carrying construction materials.
You take direction well and can stay productive without constant supervision.
You communicate clearly and work well as part of a team.
You are dependable, punctual and respectful.
A valid Class 5 driver's licence and reliable transportation are preferred.
Experience in framing, drywall, flooring, trim, siding, decks or general renovations is an asset.
